Oryx Gaming agrees new content distribution deal with Logrand for online casino Strendus in Mexico

In a move that further strengthens its foothold in Mexico, leading turnkey solutions provider Oryx Gaming has inked a content distribution deal with Logrand Entertainment Group for the latter’s online casino brand in Mexico, Strendus Casino.

The new alliance will see the online casino gain access to the Bragg Gaming Group (TSXV:BRAG) company’s exclusive remote gaming server (RGS) offering, which, in addition to speed and availability for HTML5 gaming, provides top-performing content that is localized for every player type from leading studios including German online games developer, Gamomat, as well as Golden Hero, Giveme Games, Arcadem, Peter & Sons, and Malta and Krakow based international games studio, Kalamba Games. Oryx’s diverse portfolio of virtual lottery products will also be implemented by the online casino in the near future.

Furthermore, via the Oryx Hub, the online operator will also leverage the Slovenian provider’s player engagement and data tools, which includes features such as realtime leaderboards and tournaments, extra rounds, mystery jackpots, achievements, quests and more, all of which have been designed to drive player engagement, retention, loyalty, conversation and player value through a single centralized system.

LatAm region key focus:

The content agreement is lauded by Oryx as “an important step” as the iGaming solutions provider works toward expanding its footprint beyond Europe, with the burgeoning Latin American region a key focus.

Logrand Entertainment Group’s Strendus online casino offers its users a broad range of products including more than 700 casino games, table games, lottery products, a sportsbook, and esports betting. The latest deal will significantly increase the operator’s casino and lottery offerings.

Cementing position:

Also commenting on the partnership, Managing Director for Oryx Gaming, Matevž Mazij said that further strengthening its foothold in Mexico is “exciting” for them as they continue to solidify their position as a global supplier.

“Strendus Casino is a reputable and well-known brand and we’re thrilled to extend their offering with our engaging and entertaining content from our sought after RGS studios,” Mazij added.

Founded in 2005, Logrand Entertainment Group is responsible for more than 10 brick-and-mortar casinos in Mexico, and while its online brand is relatively new, having been established in 2018, it has flourished and now boasts 150,000-plus active users.

New Bragg CEO:

The deal follows the announcement from global B2B gaming technology provider Bragg Gaming Group that from May 1st, 2021, Board Member Richard Carter assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto-headquartered company. Carter joined the firm’s Board of Directors in fall 2020, after spending five years as CEO of omni-channel online casino and sports betting technologies developer SBTech,  until the company merged with daily fantasy sports and bookmaker, DraftKings, via a three-way deal with special purpose acquisition company, Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp (Nasdaq: DEAC) in April 2020.
